Interplast Limited, the largest manufacturer of PVC and HDPE pipes in West Africa will run an exciting irrigation technology demo and training targeting event participants and rural smallholder farmers at the upcoming agribusiness conference and exhibitions in Tamale from October 3-5th.

At a media briefing with Agricinghana Media attending, Mr Haidar Malhas, Irrigation Services Manager of Interplast indicated that the irrigation demo is meant to showcase the potential of all-year round crop cultivation in Ghana. Additionally, it was meant to increase adoption of innovative irrigation technologies to enable farmers and agribusinesses increase crop yields to meet market demand whiles optimising on irrigable water use leading to significant savings and higher rural income for farmers.
With intent to juice up the event and encourage participants to attend the free irrigation technology training, Interplast will run massive sales discount on drip and sprinkler irrigation kits for participants who register to attend the event.
About Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition and Conference
The Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition and Conference is an annual interventional event that brings together stakeholders in the agriculture sector from both the public and private sectors to establish business relationships and discuss contracts as well as explore and exploit other growth opportunities in the sector.
It features key activities such as training programmes, workshops, field demonstrations, exhibitions, among others. This year’s edition is scheduled for October 3-5, 2018 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, the Northern regional capital.
