CropLife Ghana, an active association of major importers of agrochemicals products, fertilizers and seeds in Ghana have held a training workshop on the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Code of Conduct (CoC) for safe utilization of pesticides in Ghana on Wednesday 20th February, 2013. Mr. Bama Yao, the Regional Chairman of West & Central Africa of CropLife AME and the Program Manager of CropLife Ghana, Mr. Frederick Boampong facilitated training sessions with interactive discussions and presentations. The session on Counterfeiting & illegal pesticide determination as well as the contribution from Croplife member companies in Ghana, facilitated by the Program Manager, Mr. Frederick Boampong served as a key discussion component of the training workshop with fruitful deliberations and follow-ups planned.
