As part of activities to engage urban and rural youth in climate-smart agriculture and orient youth in market-driven value chain opportunities in Ghana, the Global Youth Innovation Network (GYIN), Ghana and the African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC), Ghana are organizing a one-day participatory youth workshop in Accra on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at AgriHub Ghana Knowledge Space.
Theme: The Role of International Development Organisations in Country-level Youth in Agriculture Programmes.
This workshop will be facilitated by Ms. Grace Mwaura, a PhD Candidate from Oxford University. It is expected to be highly engaging with exciting learning outcomes. It will also be a point to build partnerships and discuss viable project concepts for the CTA Youth Call on strengthening youth agricultural entrepreneurship in strategic commodity value chains in Ghana and the West African sub-region.
