Thinking about climate impact on farmers’ productivity in Ghana

Farmers are people on the front line of climate change impacts. The ecosystems on which they rely are increasingly degraded, their access to suitable agricultural land is declining, and their forest resources are increasingly restricted. Many are working on marginal rain fed land, with increased water scarcity. Farmers need accurate and consistent information to support strategic planning and to deliver quality solutions on-and-off farm.

What innovative climate-smart solutions are out there?
How do we deploy such solutions to improve farmers’ productivity in Ghana?

The journalists and editors at Agricinghana Media have been critically thinking about these issues. Share your climate-smart technology innovations with us so we relay it to our smallholder farmer-based organisations and cooperatives (FBOs/FBCs).

We are excited to promote these innovations. Connect with us!
